Quickpost this image to Myspace, Digg, Facebook, and others! Legend: DARK BLUE CIRCLE - Start of Menstruation Period GREEN CIRCLES - SAFE PERIOD RED CIRCLES - FERTILE PERIOD - Days 8 to 19 are the fertile days.
This is a simple guide on the Rhythm Method Technique. In the chart guide above, you will notice thirty-two circles in three different colors - dark green, green and red. The only one dark green circle represents the start of a woman's regular menstruation period. The color green circles represent a safe period for her to get sexual contact with her partner without fear of getting pregnant. The red colored circles indicates that she is on a fertile period and most likely will get pregnant if she makes sexual contact with her partner on this period of time. The number on the center of each circle represent the number of days from the start of menstruation period. One must only take note on the calendar the start of a woman's regular menstruation period. Then count the number of days from the beginning of the menstruation period to the present day. If the number of days fall on the green colored circle, then it is her safe period.
If number of days fall on red colored circle, she is on a fertile period and therefore must observe abstinence or use artificial contraceptive like condom during intercourse if the couple is avoiding the prospect of the woman getting pregnant.
And for those who are not comfortable counting the number of days on a calendar, there is still another option on the right pane of this page with a heading Birth Control thru Text Message where you can use your cellphone and send via text message the first day of menstruation and instantly get a reply. Some important explanations are also written on it that one must observe before starting to use the method.
Note:
The above method of birth control is the same as that of Rhythm Method or Fertility Awareness Method. It was only given a new kind of visual aid or illustration to serve as guide to couples who are having trouble determining safe and fertile period of a woman.
The method is applicable only to women with regular monthly menstruation cycle.
